Dr Megan Rossi is a Registered Dietitian (RD) with a PhD in the area of gut health from the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at The University of Queensland, Australia. Megan’s PhD was recognised for its contribution to science receiving the Dean’s Award for outstanding research Higher Degree and was selected as one of nine international female success stories by Cosmopolitan.
Megan has a broad range of nutrition experience having worked as a clinical dietitian specialising in gut health; sports nutritionist for the Australia Olympic Synchronised Swimming team; and consultant dietitian to several companies, from well established to start-ups.
Megan currently works as a Research Associate at King’s College London investigating nutrition-based therapies in gastrointestinal health, including pre- & probiotics, dietary fibres, the low FODMAP diet and food additives. Megan is also an Associate Lecturer at the University of Queensland, representative on several boards at King’s College London including the Division of Nutritional Sciences’ Executive Committee, is a member of the London Circle European Nutrition Leadership Platform (ENLP) Committee, and is working with Leon Restaurants on a Nationwide gut health initiative. Megan has also just opened up a specialist gut health clinic on Harley Street London with ROC private and was recognised as one of six new "wellness stars" to watch in 2017 by Women's Health UK.
